Indiana Chapter of Palatines to America
State of Indiana

How to Join Us

Join our group to share your research with us! You might have some answers for other members, and they might have answers for you!  We would like to hear about how you discovered your ancestral villages, how you broke through a brick wall, and what current research problem you're stuck on.

Our Indiana Chapter Membership is administered through the National Palatines to America Membership system. An individual membership is $40.00 for one year (October 1 - September 30) and includes membership in one chapter. We'd like to think you would pick the Indiana chapter, but you can pick one of the other state chapters if you must. You can also select other chapters in addition for $8.00 each.

Family memberships (two people at the same address) are $45.00 for one year and also include membership in one chapter with the option of adding others for $8.00 each.

Foreign memberships are also listed on the membership form.

You will receive quarterly issues of the society's journal, The Palatine Immigrant, as well as access to quarterly issues of the national newsletter, Palatine Patter. In addition you will receive a quarterly newsletter from the Indiana Chapter (if you choose Indiana for your chapter membership). You'll also have access to resources, research assistance and friendly members who want to exchange information with you.

You can fill out a membership form and pay your dues in two ways:

Please allow a few weeks for your membership to be processed and active at the chapter level. We would love to see you participate in our chapter activities and would like to hear your German genealogy research stories.
